Terms and Conditions of Membership

By joining Friday Club, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions that govern your participation, behavior, and benefits as a valued member of our business networking community.
1. Membership Eligibility & Fees
- Membership is open to individuals who own, operate, or represent a business or professional service.
- The annual membership fee is R2,500, payable once-off per year.
- Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of activation and is subject to annual renewal. Renewal reminders will be issued 30 days before expiry.
- Membership fees are non-refundable once activated.
2. Meeting Attendance & RSVP Responsibilities
- Meetings are held every Friday morning, unless otherwise communicated.
- It is each member’s responsibility to RSVP, book, and pay for their breakfast in advance, in accordance with the hosting venue’s policies.
- Breakfast costs are not included in membership and vary depending on the location.
3. Presentation Requirements
- Members presenting a 10-minute pitch are required to submit their topic, profile picture, and bio by the Monday before their scheduled presentation.
- Failure to submit in time may result in forfeiture of your presentation slot.
4. Member Conduct & Communication Guidelines
To maintain a respectful and productive environment, the following communication guidelines apply to all Friday Club platforms, including WhatsApp groups and in-person meetings:
- Only promote your own business
- Business-related promotional content only – no jokes, politics, religion, Covid discussions, or off-topic posts
- No inspirational quotes, unrelated videos, images, or cute animal photos
- Limit promotional posts to one per day
- Do not post in the group if you are unable to attend the upcoming meeting
- If replying to a request in the group, reply via direct message only
- Business advertising hours:
Monday to Saturday: 07:00 – 18:00
Sunday: No posts allowed
Violation of these rules may result in a warning, suspension, or removal from the group.
5. Friday Club Member Benefits
As an active member, you are entitled to the following benefits:

6. Termination & Refund Policy
- Friday Club reserves the right to terminate or suspend membership for breach of conduct or misuse of communication channels.
- No refunds will be issued for unused time in the event of membership cancellation.
7. Use of Member Content
By submitting your business information, profile, logo, and presentation content to Friday Club, you consent to its use for promotional, marketing, and group-related purposes across our digital platforms, newsletters, and directories.
8. Amendments
These terms may be updated periodically. Members will be notified of significant changes. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
